Lumbar Fusions, including Interbody and Posterolateral Fusions are done with very high success rates for Intractable Axial Back pain, in cases that all conservative and non-surgical treatments have failed. Instrumentations such as Pedicle Screws, Cages and Rods-Plates are used to augment and enhance the fusions from Anterior (ALIF), Lateral (XLIF) and Posterior (TLIF, PLIF) approaches.
